Rental Use Agreement

KB Pure Essentials and Labs

KB is an oil and skin care company that Kindred is partnered with, please respect their items. Let any of our staff know if you would like more information or to purchase something, we are happy to help!

Building Access

.One time renters will have the building opened and locked by one of our staff members, reoccurring rentals will have access to the lock box
.Please keep all outside doors closed due to bugs and noise
.Please note that you must be cleaned up and ready to be off of the property at the agreed upon end time of your event, failure to do so will result in loss of your cleaning deposit.

Parking

.The parking lot is shared and contains 20 spaces. We do not have control over when the law office is using spaces. Evenings and weekends tend to leave a mostly open parking lot
.Our back parking lot has handicap access
.Metered street parking out front and across the street

Audio and Visual

.We can supply a speaker, tv, DVD player and microphones if specified beforehand
.If having live music please make arrangements for those hookups
.If needing one of our staff to stay during your event to help with AV there will be an extra charge

Kitchen

.Utensils and food items are not provided
.Kitchen includes use of fridge, microwave, sink and coffee pot
.Please do not leave food in kitchen after use

Patio

.Leave side gate closed and locked
.Please be mindful of any plants in the area
.Use of fire pits is prohibited

Miscilaneous

.No glitter or confetti, use of these items will result in a loss of your cleaning deposit
.No open flames
.Board games are available in the two back rooms
.AC/Heat is set by the staff, if it needs to be adjusted please let us know
.Tables, chairs and anything on usable counters may be moved as long as those items are put back, please do not move other items such as Kindred decor.
.Mandated quiet hours in La Mesa begin at 10pm, please keep sound at a lower volume at that time

Please note that it is the responsibility of the group or individual using the facility to set up, clean up and return the facility to normal set up after the approved event or activity

*Cleaning supplies can be found in the closets, please return these items when you are done using them. Used towels and washcloths can be left in the kitchen, they will be picked up and washed regularly.

Notice

The organization or signer of the rental agreement is responsible for all damages or theft that occur during the set up time/tear down time and event

Deposit and Payment

.$100 cleaning deposit due upon booking to save your date, this deposit will be returned after the event as long as all cleaning and timing expectations have been met
.Full payment for your event is due no later then 72 hours prior to your event
.We can take cash, check, card, Paypal and Venmo
.Full refund if canceling before the 72 hour window, cancel after the 72 hours and your deposit will not be returned

Signature indicates acceptance of all applicable fees and guidelines
